Veteran's Day 2021 reminded me how thankful I am to have my old Special Forces teammate working with me to develop wind farms for ENGIE North America in Texas and Illinois. One of their Texas projects, Prairie Hill, near Mart, Texas is featured below. My company is fortunate to have supportive customers and committed team members. We are veteran-owned (SDVOSB) and almost a 1/3 of my team are veterans. We are focused on making stuff spin in all parts of my business.
Liber Holdings and the Roger Brown Co have moved from our old location to a newer facility at 3950 Doniphan Drive, Suite P, El Paso, Texas 79922. There was a fire next door in August that forced us to move from our last leased office.
We have more space and a better layout for our stocked inventory of bearings, power transmission equipment, and industrial supplies. Our original Roger Brown Co sign is refurbished and will be installed next week. Liber Holdings was founded by an Army Special Forces veteran to buy the Roger Brown Co., who a veteran has led since 1946. We continue to hire other veterans and are proud to serve our customers as we did this country.
ENGIE North America has awarded Liber Holdings a contract to provide land services for three Texas projects. We know that the landowner relationship lasts the life of the project, and we value their trust. We are thankful to be part of the ENGIE team.
Our team was fortunate to have won a part of the restaurant supplies for CyFair ISD's bid in 2018. We continue to grow our business with school customers and am happy to supply the school system that educates my kids in Cypress, Texas.
Brazoria County selected Liber Industrial to support their food service supply needs throughout all facilities in the county. Brazoria County is rich with history and was the first capital of the Republic of Texas. With over 300,000 residents, they are a large customer for us. We are thankful that the county is supporting a local, service-disabled veteran-owned business. We are excited to prove that we can out hustle our competition with superior products and still save our customers money.
Liber Holdings was awarded a Custodial Supply Contract (BPD 1617-25) by Aldine ISD. Over the next few weeks, we will replace obsolete Georgia Pacific toilet dispensers in over 80 schools with the help of our redistributor RJ Schinner and manufacturer Solaris. We are pleased that we could save the school district money and still deliver a high level of service. We are also excited that Houston is supporting a small, veteran-owned business.
The mentor-protégé relationship is mutually beneficial since mentors can use their protégés to fulfill HUB subcontracting requirements when bidding on state contracts with expected values of $100,000 or more. The partnership with MSC Industrial enables us to deliver breadth and depth of product lines to general contractors to meet their safety equipment, hand tools, power tools, marking equipment and paint needs. Liber Holdings welcome the chance on bidding state and federal construction projects with a HUB subcontracting plan requirement.
